On Sunday 19 January, we are organising a 'ont-moeting'. A 'ont-moeting' (encounter, meeting) is an accessible, small-scale gathering in which we make ourselves present for the encounter with the moment. An opportunity to simply be together, to enjoy each other's presence and, to remind ourselves of what is truly important to us. These intimate gatherings are an invitation to share the richness of our human experience in a quiet atmosphere.

This afternoon will take place in the Rijnkapel in Amerongen. These gatherings have an open form which means that they can differ in structure each time but have fixed components such as meditation, silence, poetry, readings and group exercises. The content of the day is shaped depending on where the inspiration leads, so no two 'encounters' are the same.
