Gatherings & Retreats
With much love and devotion, Sven organizes one- or multi-day gatherings and retreats in which he wishes to pay tribute to the gift of life in an accessible but honorable way. The meetings are an invitation for thanksgiving and remembrance, he sees each meeting as an opportunity for service so that we can more consciously continue our greater service in the world. All with the wish to live in greater love and harmony with all that lives and grows.
Talking Circle
A 'Talking Circle' is a process that brings people together with the intention to speak from our truth, to open our hearts to what lives within us and to make ourselves receptive so that we learn to listen truly and attentively to everyone who in turn word shares. This tradition is deeply rooted in the traditional practices of multiple indigenous traditions and is being embraced today to connect on a deeper level, breaking down barriers between people and opening up new possibilities for connection where we can truly 'see' each other as people.
Silent Walk
Silence is always accessible and close, although it often feels like something far away due to the amount of sound and the many impressions, but silence is a deep place within ourselves and not just an absence of sound. These walks are an invitation to enter the inner silence within yourself with every step and thus, in this expansion, to encounter nature and its beauty in a completely different way. The walk is an opportunity to leave the busy everyday life outside the boundaries of the forest and to become present for the clarity that rests within you.
Zitting
A 'Zitting' is a day in which we come together to experience the joy of sitting in silence and observing what lives within us. This day differs from a guided meditation retreat as it mainly invites people to sit in silence on their own for a longer period of time based on the idea that if we simply sit and listen carefully, without giving in to the desire to want anything from this change, that we then hear how loudly life speaks to us. During this day we open and close together, there is room to speak from the heart and receive the other and tools are given for how to continue this in daily life.
Schouwing
'Schouwing' is an open and accessible exploration into the truth of the moment, in which Sven tries to make himself present for what is alive within and to share this with the group in all honesty. This is not about sven nor about his words, but it is about making ourselves internally present for the touch of what lives in us all. ‘Schouwing’ is an interactive reflection in which we try to come home to the truths that live within us all, without dogma, expectations, or regulations. Through short reflections, Sven speaks about living themes and there is room for dialogue.
'Schouwing’ is organized both on location and online.
Vertelling
During a 'Vertelling,' Sven recites one (or more) of his short stories, essays, reflections as well as poems. It often concerns a combination of several pieces of text and poems and there is room for questions or interpretations about the content of the text.
'Lecture’ is organized both on location and online.
De Viering
'De Viering' is a gathering in which simply celebrating life is central. The celebration is a co-creation of Eva Driessen and Sven Signe, who both cherish the dream of celebrating their love for life and coming together so that we can remember how wonderful it is to be alive. Twice a year they organize an accessible day in which we come together in a natural place, enjoy the joys of community, and meet each other in silence as well as in singing beautiful songs, in which we listen to each other as well as speak from our hearts and of course enjoy divine plant-based food.
Please, also take a moment to view the beautiful life's work of Eva Driessen.
De Verering
‘De Verering’ is an accessible gathering in which we are inspired and guided by many handed down and existing religions and traditions. Centered around the recognition that everything in life is an expression of the Divine, an attempt to open ourselves to the many rich traditions that have sought to point this out. To provide an opportunity where people come together to celebrate and revere life, regardless of belief or tradition.
