Tales from ‘De Edra’

A cozy afternoon in a Yurt where Sven will read works from his self-written collection of spiritual and religious legends called 'De Edra'.

On Sunday, March 17, Sven and Nina are organizing a day called ‘Tales from 'De Edra'. The Edra is a collection of stories, poems, and fictional histories that serve as a devotional hymn to the beauty of life. It is a collection of self-written spiritual and religious legends set in the world of 'Edra'. During this day, Sven will present selected works and explain the many references incorporated in the texts.

“De Edra is my hymn for this life, it is my attempt to capture my infatuation with the gift of life in a collection of stories, poems and legends.” — sven signe

The afternoon takes place in a Yurt in Oudenhoorn, the stove is burning, and we open and close together, before we eat a beautiful vegetable soup in silence, after which Sven slowly moves from the silence to sharing the word. Depending on where inspiration may guide it, it will take around 1-2 hours to read in total, and in the meantime (and afterward) there is of course room for dialogue.

Please not that ‘De Edra’ is written in Dutch so it will be recited in Dutch.
